Earlier this year, we saw the gray around the nails. It seems that the tone is hard because the black chic is back. But not alone: a color associated with more bling or softer. And with a pattern which we breath realization. I was tempted to reproduce identically the manicure. Quiz in pictures ![]()
The French reverse
Inspired by the look "Black & White" by Bourjois, it is surprisingly not that difficult to install without brush or no experience in nail art.

Steps:
- of 2 layers of 28 Rose Lounge everywhere
- applying two coats of Black 30 from China, leaving uncovered the lunula. To the well-rounded-shaped contour of the lune, I position the brush on one end and joined each other. Then, very quickly (as the paint dries very quickly), I pass a layer above and filled the rest of the nail.

This manicure is nice, but better to have a visible lunula, otherwise you might get the impression that your toenail has grown, leaving the white part.
So paint, I love: Good but pretty effect. Little disappointment about the Rose Lounge, which is not good coverage.

The Fauves
The cracked versions appear at YSL couture fashion. The brand offers two varnish in combination, namely the base and top coat in 4 different colors. I tested the variant in a matte black lacquer gold.

The result is really beautiful. I love the contrast between the gold "melted" generous and dark black. Allow 2 days for a perfect fit, no more ![]()
Also, do not imagine putting a transparent top coat to make it last longer, otherwise it will change the pattern of cracking.

Upcoming tests manicure: Varnishes this spring!

The top coat modifies the design of the cracked? How is this possible? With cracked OPI does not do it yet ...
@ Mary: hello ... listen, I had a nail and then I stopped dead, saw the result. I applied a top coat Chanel and there, have tightened prints black and black was dispersed on the gold lacquer. Is it the top coat? Or cracked? I found this very cracked "powdery" and less "stable" IPO ... if you spend over a nail, black powder comes off. So by putting the top coat on it, then you lose all the matt effect. That's why I do not advise the top coat, but am still interested if anyone has one to recommend me!
The beasts are beautiful I am waiting for several months already! Hurry hurry hurry! Great result on your nails!
@ Kate: I'm also a big fan of the result! To see what other colors can give!
I still have not yet tested the cracked glaze I bought
I will start going
