At birth, there are often baby. To him gifts, smiles, gestures and soft massage. With our deformed body, we will defer the moment of relaxation just for us. It was in Paris that I tested a special care young mother, and I do not regret having done so late. For up to 6 months post delivery, I do not feel I would deliver the body in the hands of a masseuse for so long ... without fear of pain, but without feeling a little ashamed of stomach and buttocks flagada soft. This is the brand new Spa at Mandarin Oriental that I lived that moment very exclusive, as a reward.
The Mandarin Oriental Spa
Located in the basement of the hotel Rue Saint Honore, the Spa is a poetic! The patterns and colors chosen are extremely soft and fine, and I raptures over this wall dotted with stylized flowers in Origami.
A passage, or should I say, you should definitely stop in the big pearly sphere to reach the reception. Placed in the center of this sphere, then I hear my echo almost whispered. Ok, I understand, I put all my energy flowing pace. And staff will help you without any trouble, by telling you a very delicate and asked, I would even want to say "idle".
A quick look at the indoor pool before I announce at the reception. Reserved for hotel guests, it is just for your eyes. It emerges from this pool a lot of light and very feminine. Its alcoves are very purple glass design and dress well this pool. But I would have preferred a little more depth, more privacy for a relaxing time just for you (and not for the young man doing his breaststroke). Finally, it is in my dreams, because I have not actually tested the pool. Neither met the young man 
The reception area is a rather simple, because it's not supposed to stay there too long. I am invited me to sit down to complete a comprehensive health questionnaire and leave my shoes, which are delicately placed on a tray. I regret that day for not wearing shoes much more luxurious than my Mellow Yellow, this is where ever. Though the place is not at all flashy.
My masseuse comes to me and leads me to the reception ... weird ...
And then I discover that this is actually a glass sliding door that leads into a dark hallway and opens the way to the 7 spa suites.
My suite Jade Spa
I had not read the description before coming to the Spa, and it's a good thing because I was rather stunned face of so much luxury. Following a privatized all to myself.
I feel I have rented for an hour a hotel room with toilet, a shower-steam room, her closet and finally his cabin. And this is the same configuration for all suites, with a whirlpool tub in addition to the three couples suites.
The cabin is beautiful, unfortunately my picture did not fully restores the colors amaranth, taupe and silver puisqu'éclairée at that time by candles. But this atmosphere suits me perfectly!
Cocoon care for the New Mum
This care for the body nourishing and regenerating lasts 1:20 ET consists of three steps:
- gentle exfoliation based shower gel and olive kernels is performed on the whole body,
- previously showered on the body and dry, a massage is performed on the whole body by mixing a cream, gel and oil-based essential oil of rose.
Between the v is massaged with a special healing oil. - a towel is applied all over the body to allow better absorption of active, during which time a scalp massage (with or without oil, your choice) is practiced.
This care products made with Aromatherapy Associates resembles the care I had during my pregnancy tested at D orchester Spa in London. Very enveloping, and very relaxing, especially from the time when massaging the scalp is involved.
I would have preferred that the mixture is heated or modeling as part of the cabin is much more heated because the look is too toning gel and invigorating, while my desire in this treatment is to relax and feel the heat. Probably because you also lost, putting your baby in the world, this constant heat, the one you used to constantly looking in the winter with your feet and hands frozen. I would still say that my feet were frozen at the beginning and end of a special care with hot towels wrap. And that the massage bed temperature increased in allowing me to enjoy the second part of care.
Under my towel and heated (!), I feel deeply relaxed and have even felt like that this time is extended by 30 minutes. Alas, I hear the drums Tibetan confirming the end of treatment. I have no desire to get out of here, especially if it is bad outside.

Back to my dressing room private, a surprise awaits me. Mariage Freres tea and dessert made by Thierry Marx himself!
Oh dear, this BUCHETTE blasted with chestnut mousse and thin green tea is to die. I savored very slowly and is so comforting! What a great way to finish a treatment.
Helpful hints for mothers
A dedicated care is offered at the Spa, simply named Mum-to-be, for pregnant women from their third month.
The peculiarity is that you can be massaged lying on her stomach, with a soft mattress with a huge central hole. So either your stomach or your chest is crushed. The back legs are as well worked.
The price of future care and young mothers is 240 €. This is a very significant amount in a luxury, so I can imagine that this treatment can be offered to you by your loved ones to celebrate pregnancy as a congratulatory gift for the birth.
Why could we not receive and pampering on this occasion?

I have given my life for a spa like that after giving birth ... Well, here it is 9 months (almost ten months) so I feel less need but we often forget how young mothers needs also feel good in their shoes, we take care of it after 9 months of pregnancy who mistreated ...
Actually 240 euros, not cheap (this is the case to say) but it's still a very beautiful gift to give! And then the welfare of a young mother does not have a price, after all she deserves it, right?
@ Annushka: care like this is like a gift. The ideal would receive around 5/6ème month, when our body is less painful but it is often very tired. Yes, we can say we deserve a little peace and pleasure!
