This Saturday, August 20th, I had a good reason to have shaky hands during a makeup session, I maquillais my sister! One time charge of emotion in my child's room, with his background beautiful wedding dress! My sister agreed to share the photos with us on the blog these moments in beauty and I am very grateful, given its discretion.
After spending the morning at Geneva manicure and haircut for our buns (see articles and tutorials here and here ), we had a little (not much!) late and had very very hot ... It was a day heat wave, but what chance have the sunshine after 2 weeks of this weather. Fortunately, we had a rehearsal makeup a few days before, which allowed us, despite the pressure to spend all this time rather more relaxed manner. Make-up for 5 years my best friends for their wedding, I was rather surprised that this year my sister asked me to make up for his. Because it seemed to me never really convinced in the past by my prowess makeup too pronounced and not enough natural. This is true, it goes back to our homes when we were students and I liked the straw at the time. Radical change of register this time: with the wedding, I had no room for error! After some experimentation carried on pink and brown colors, she chose a very soft makeup in gray, who put her beautiful and big brown eyes in value.
MAKEUP FACE THE SESSION

Product used: Clarins Multi Regenerating Foundation SPF15, shade 110 Honey
Apply a concealer under the eyes and on the eyelids including hide all redness and small blood vessels
Product used: The Balm Concealer More Clear the air
Applying a transparent loose powder, more focus on the contour of the eye (and makeup residues can be removed more easily)
Product used: Lancome Poudre Majeure Excellence 01 Translucent
Applying a base yeuxpour allow for better resistance
Product used: MAC Soft Ochre base
Application of eye light gray lid on the entire eyelid, and a white shadow under the brow bone
Product used: Gosh duo eyeshadow 003 matt dark 'n dusty
Application of eyeliner pencil by thickening slightly at the outer corner of the eye
Product used: Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner Carbon 04
Application of halo dark gray shadow from the outer corner of the eye and fading towards the center of the eyelid. Thoroughly mix the contents. The pinveau also apply with a beveled under the eye along the lash line.
Drawing eyebrows with a brush and an eyebrow pencil
Product used: Clarins Eyebrow Pencil
Application of black mascara
Product used: Helena Rubinstein Lash Queen Fatal Blacks 01 magnetic
I end with a nice breath of fresh blush
Product used: brush Revlon and Bourjois Blush 16 Rose 16 Thunderbolt
Lips will be masked after the dress and the very last minute! A gloss nude color was perfect!
MANICURE
I probed some Swiss bloggers so they can recommend a nice but mostly pro place in Geneva. Unfortunately, although there are a plethora of micro institutes in Switzerland, there is really no nail bars can accommodate several people at the same time (ie my sister and her two witnesses) in the heart of Geneva, in a modern minimum and offering quality service.
Lees Executive Institute that seem out of the 80s and believe draw pictures with their ultra vulgar claws, it does not inspire confidence in me. Based on their website that stood out, we went to Swiss Nail Spa, located in the city center in front of the Time.
We all chose the three New York Express manicure including exfoliation, lotion, cuticle care, filing and nail polish (OPI or Essie) for 45 CHF. The price is very competitive, the work was very neat and friendly welcome. While the place is not very nice or very large (the term "SPA" is an exaggeration chouilla) even if an effort is made to make it nice and pretty.
I chose this day for a raspberry colors of OPI (Baguette Me Not) and my sister chose a French manicure for a few extra francs.

I loved the wedding preparations, special moments with my two witnesses. And to me by my sister makeup was very moving!
But yes I'm picky in terms of makeup, and more on the day of my wedding.
I wear makeup every day (mascara, eyeliner or pencil) but I almost never put eye and eyelid foundation. So I did not want something too loaded or stressed.
