Lady Gaga and Rihanna are crazy nail art "extravagenza" but when you have no institute near able to do these wonders or time for a 1 hour manicure, or want to put a lot of money in a temporary decoration, there are the OPI Chic Prints! Imagine that I bought in May at Sephora in New York, where they are sold exclusively and in limited edition. I had not yet taken the time to test them. It's done!
What's different from the existing proposed Minx stickers and Colette?
Compared to nail current patches (found at Sephora just red or
orange):
The choice of fun patterns (see photo or against the U.S. website ). And bluff, because many people have not noticed that they were stickers and thought I had done it myself decoration.
Compared to Minx Colette:
- the price is more attractive: $ 15, or about 11 euros wallet vs. 16 sticks. € 40 installation at Colette
- fun to apply yourself at home, without a great beautician or go through it and the stress of an appointment at Nail Bar
- holding: Minx announces three weeks vs. OPI 2 days. At the same time, do you really want to keep your manicure Lady Gaga nails for 3 weeks??
- there are currently less choice at OPI, but hey it's new
I opted for my part in the d esign Skulls with skull on the thumb and baroque patterns on the rest of the nails. 16 pre-cut strips for nails hands or feet.
How does it work?
Pressing strips for heating and off easily. One chooses that of the width of each nail and is simply applied to the nail starting from the rounded edge outwardly. First I cut the excess sticker with a pair of scissors and have filed.
This effectively takes time, but it's simple and still faster than getting nails with polish, which is dry. Also if you did not support like crazy on the tape, it is always possible to reposition.
The challenge?
- The sticker does not make bubbles on the sides. You still have to take the time to pull and smooth.
- That the file is crystal ... obviously we ALL file a crystal, is not it? Well not me, so the result was not very clear at the end of the nail
- That we avoid dipping his fingers into the water after, if the sticker comes off at the end and it's super uncomfortable, like when you have a bit of polish that part and you can not help but make a fixette above.
My solution to keep them longer?
Have a length sufficient to nail
1st days of application and nail clippers to cut below the area that is off. Your nails are perfect again.
Otherwise, I used a bit of base coat to pick up part of the sticker, and it worked. 4 days after the first application, I continue to wear them and they are even more beautiful short!
Now there are just waiting to find them on sale at Sephora in France, including online for girls Province can also find this technique (because Minx is proposed to Paris!).
And also hope that the price will be below 10 €, not to be too chilling. I'm already eyeing the panther patterns, which are out-of-stock in the U.S. ...

This is pretty cool even if it was a bit laborious application ... at least for me who am not patient for in air
Waa
too good Chris
I love it!

In addition your nails are long
Mine are a little short you veras
I had a big crack suddenly I shortcut ...
I'm still part of the NEB leaders?
Even with my short nails?
Big kisses
Oh, and some advice for the end, instead of filing, I will board the top coat!
The end will melt and go alone:

I saw the other day models.
Floral and geometric patterns are a real killer!
It looks a bit like water decals but water use ^ ^
your pattern is great, it's chic and rock ^ ^
Wow, this is super pretty! It's great if it takes four days instead of two announced!
This is great! And the reason you have chosen in these colors there is very pretty!
Knowing me, I might finally the gun down quickly .... I'll have already come to apply them correctly lol
It is true that I thought it was real nails before reading the text and you had just used the new "cracked" glaze. I even said that the reasons which appeared on you were much nicer than all the other bloggers who were tested. I understand from reading it but it was not stickers
It is true that it is not bad, but who am already unable to tame the Sephora nail patch, I'm not sure it's for me.
Yes it is clear is handy! And pretty! And need to dissolve!
I can not wait!
I think it's super pretty.
Question: Your lipstick is that?
I love the units selected, they are very cute!
it can get a little rock, I rather like
I saw them in NY but I preferred to turn to liquid varnish, more traditional
it's nice anyway, it reminds me of those Sephora released two years ago!
hello I love this color I have black nail paint dries by BarryM a breakneck speed you know you love him? kisses
@ Marie: it takes a little patience, but it goes fast and it's fun in the end!
@ Yoko: but I think it makes it even better on short nails! Great advice, I'll try the day with my remaining 6 stickers, I'll make some toe nails.
@ MlleGima: thou hast seen where? Sephora? I have not seen, just neon pink patches, blue and yellow.
@ Nonotiteblonde: top in the theme, is not it?
@ Knitspirit: yes, but it is provided to shorten between two
@ Paddychat: it is easy to wear, and even likes women of a certain age!
@ SGWoman: I fear it is more difficult to apply them on the fingers of the right hand, being right-handed. But no, they stick easily.
Beauty @ Lazy: I have not even tried the varnish "cracked" but promise you another experience all soon!
@ Trikoala: ah yes, I forgot to mention that to loosen, nothing more simple. Press the sticker on the nail for reheat and remove from where it took off. It starts easily, leaving a small deposit of glue on the nail.
@ Sissi: thank you for your comment! The red is the Lancome Rouge Absolu.
@ Ellen: thank you! They married with a lot of outfits!
@ Christiine: it's true, and they become an accessory in itself. This avoids the rings or bracelets in this case.
@ Jade: the ooh my memory fails. What stickers design have it out 2 years ago? I realized that these were a Chic Prints excluded OPI for Sephora ...
@ Borabora: I do not know anything about Barry M. Where do you buy these polishes? biz
