Back to School Makeup: Chanel's khakis (with assistance)

Podium language, we say "military green". And Vogue and all women's magazines, we read "must-have." And Chanel boutique, vendors will often hear "You left, of khakis?". Because you will pull them out, these three veneer of luxury at 25 € each. Limited editions sold on September 7 in the store on Avenue Montaigne in the evening of the Vogue Fashion Night. No cartons or Gaspard Ulliel in your arms, forget everything short that night. Otherwise, when next you can find them in the same shop and rue Cambon.

Chanel fan of the blogger that I am (which, in his dreams, in a procession of Karl. In his dreams, I said) was fortunate to receive them in bags adorable, I think collecting for years to come . This is what being a fan. Packing and dust accumulate on cabinets.

3 shades so: a khaki pink, khaki green and khaki brown. Little review in pictures ...

  • The khaki pink is not fundamentally very original, quite close to the end of last year's Particular. Very easy to wear.

  • The khaki green offers a green duck, the most symbolic of the military uniform, the color probably the most difficult to wear 3. A color that I would see Matt eventually. So hop, a touch of top coat of Essie Matte about you, and my nails are transformed into military helmet. Both play the game thoroughly, right?

  • The khaki brown color is the most elegant, can marry all this season, which is the dominant brown. At left in photo below.

So yes, I could play the two-color manicure "YSL" and mix khaki khaki green and pink on the nail. But I preferred the version duet on each hand by placing a different hue. Miss Lourdes has done well with his half black half white leggings, why not do it with the manicure?

    I can not understand the passion that everyone has these varnishes. It was the same with the 505 last year and when you know with Over the Taupe OPI was virtually the same, and the small nail that you gave us from London, and it breaks a bah little myth. In addition to 25 euros for a veneer, this is pure madness knowing that according to many blogs, held at the Chanel is not really a panacea. Chanel is very pretty things, it's still a reference in fashion, but really do a whole patacaisse for varnish, and bah blah ....     @ Saben: I agree, a Haute Couture collection is much more impressive and deserves more coverage. Every cosmetic brand seeks to create an event to stand out in every season. Chanel plays on color and rarity, it is a choice that seems to pay. As for the outfit, I've never had to complain, since using them for decades but this is obviously my simple review
    @ Clemency: I do not know the schedules of the sale. I learn and repeat to you!
    @ Caramel: the application is simple, no complaints. I applied a base, then two layers and finally a top coat.
