After several passages in department stores and dazzled by the picture of the summer 2010 makeup collection "Instant Sun Light" Clarins, I could not resist buying the waterproof mascara Wonder Violet.
This is a fairly recurring color Clarins and I thought she was putting really well worth the blue eyes of the mannequin in this picture. This product is advertised as the must-have of the summer for the most beautiful looks at the beach or pool.
Alas, this mascara has also hurt the Wonder name purple.
WONDER
This is the promise of "gainer and thicken lashes at the first brush strokes and offer even the eyelashes a little too short, a spectacular volume results! "Dixit Joyce.fr site. Uh, it took me dozens and dozens of brush strokes to expect to see the mascara on the eyelashes load. The union minimum. Then talk about volume, it makes me chuckle.
I also found a very fine texture and drying out too quickly. I did a test (and therefore too late for me) on hand: texture seems perfect for eyeliner, but not for a volume mascara!
VIOLET
This is the promise of a good contrasting color and flashy marrying perfectly with a golden eye. So yes, the color is gorgeous on the packaging, the eyes of the model and on the brush. But what about me? Despite successive brush strokes, I can barely see the purple on my eyelashes. As I was looking anything but a discreet look with this mascara, I am very disappointed.

Well, I spent 24 euros for nothing, but still looking for a nice and effective purple mascara. Would you have a product to recommend?

I tried the black cherry and I put the blush pink fuchsia eyelid over, it was ... well flashy!

for less than 10 euros (12 according to the points of sale), the colossal volum Gemyy Maybelline is fine (and volume side, and purple side). This is the big yellow bottle firecracker, no no it does not exist in black ...
There must be a beautiful YSL too, but not yet tried ...

@ Aurelie: good point. Indeed, with a white base, as all my other mascaras base helps. I use Lancome Oscillation Powerbooster and it's not bad (except when the battery after I loose almost nothing of use). Now this mascara intended to be used alone as sufficient volumizing, and be waterproof. Does base + waterproof, it's still as effective when swimming? Personally, I do not know!
@ Sapphire ah YSL makes good mascaras as sacred. I have a blue that never leaves me. In addition, they always have a divine smell, do not you think?

I was testing an electric blue bourgeois, he was great, I do not know if are in purple. I think it was the mascara bombshell. I test a purple waterproof nivea but again I have not had dazzled by résulat, he saw himself not very well pa share when you do large head movements, which it says is a little ridiculous the street. € 24 its quite expensive especially if you are disappointed. I advise you the mascara Lash Cabaret Arcancil because it is great! I use it only on the tips of my eyelashes and really distinguished fine purple ... Kisses.

@ Yas: nice board to put only on the tips. Arcancil ... you know it was one of my 1st makeup brands, I mean myself. I loved their Christmas collections, because at the time (when I was young, huh, because today I celebrate my 33 brushes!) Was one of the only brands to offer sequins etc..
Shame to have spent so much on a product that will ultimately not worth it! I'm pretty cautious about colored mascaras (I remain faithful to the "black is black!") So I can not advise you but I hope you find one that combleras in your expectations (try brands retail, they often do not pay mine and would not bet a penny on the intensity of their color, and then finally it is a pleasant surprise ^ ^) Lots of kisses ♥

I urge you mascara false lash effect of yves saint laurent purple! it is great but only holds 5 to 7 weeks, but it is beautiful!!
Otherwise there Arcancil offering very beautiful purple mascara and at affordable prices!
