My beauty shopping in Singapore

My beauty shopping in Singapore
I spent a few days in Singapore, many hours in shopping malls to find out very fond market beauty products.

If we limit ourselves to department stores, so we do not notice any difference with Europe all major cosmetic brands are represented: Chanel, Dior, Clinique, Lancome, Kiehl's ... with almost the same news and the same promotions.

It is in the "back room" or rather in the drugstore shelves, they became fully aware of the differences with Europe.

Bright white skin and matte. You are aware that young Asians still have a small paper towel, it's everywhere. But it is especially hunting and UV ton of lightening product that surprise. And that goes Baby the product for the feet, cream mask. The sun is public enemy No. 1.

That's right, I noticed a lot more young women with acne in the street. The supply range is consistent, to hunt face buttons into the back, as with the spray to reach the buttons on the back.

a34e98557cc2b13d51f97efab6e3f39a Mon shopping beauté à Singapour This is THE beauty routine. : éclaircir la peau, la relaxer avant de dormir (à la camomille), traiter l'acné, apaiser après une exposition au soleil, exfolier et enlever les peaux mortes, hydrater… Masks for all areas of the body: face, eyes, feet, hands ... and for all needs: clear skin, relax before sleep (with chamomile), treat acne, soothing after sun exposure, exfoliate and remove dead skin, moisturize ...

06b4ef74fae54681f27b9e458534514c Mon shopping beauté à Singapour A bit of fun anyway ... especially in the products in fun products like makeup where girls pay extremely important to cilia (the mascare is THE makeup product par excellence, the offer is huge false eyelashes), the eyebrows extremely well designed and glossées and greedy lips. Below, Sexy girl offers hairsprays to give shine and smell divine. Balms greedy lips as tiny cupcakes and ice cream! Yum!

, un rasoir géant pour enlever le poil du dos (!!!), l'appareil chauffant pour allonger les cils . Attention to detail. And to do this, an accessory for each body part and the problem to be treated. Whether stencils to draw well his eyebrows, a giant razor to remove the hair on the back (!), The heating device for lengthening the eyelashes. Then we find the most developed to oxygenate the skin or activate blood circulation. Remember, the winner of the Beyond Beauty Spa 08 was Slimcera , facial skating that replacing the actions of a beautician, can clean the pores and rejuvenate your skin!

79c7ef1f1ef73c833dc52be79210ee12 Mon shopping beauté à Singapour My other observations in store:

- Even if these segments are growing, I have not been struck by the presence of moisturizers and anti-aging
- Free skin pimples or blackheads. Many products lotion type water spray to tighten pores and impeccable cleaning
- Many brands of drugstore to treat skin problems with medical connotation
- Not so much fun in skincare products. Ingredients (aloe vera kind, green tea ...) are mostly found and reported to be effective and not so much for their effect bien-être/sensoriel
- Quite a few natural brands. The segment is growing but frankly the ten stores, I have hardly seen. If present, they are imported from Australia or the UK. It is far from booming essential oils and organic cosmetics in Europe!
- Food supplements Whole rays, the real bazaar for novice I am!. It is a complement to any problem!

Basically, I saw a lot of seriousness in the cosmetic and relatively little emotional and fun. Should I make to Japan to make the most fun discoveries!

Have you already made in Asia? Have you noticed the same trends?

Coming in test: bought in Singapore, Shiseido mascara + my foot mask icon smile Mon shopping beauté à Singapour

@ Nefertiti: my pleasure! I would have stayed there longer, but still good, my man must already support my evenings past week on the blog, I'm not going to abuse during the holidays!

  9. ViVi LaChipie

I love it. I had the same reaction in Japan last year. In addition, most products are always of very good quality.

    Enjoy your little shopping! ;-)

  10. Aline

Thank you for your nice message on my blog, it allowed me to discover yours and I feel he will m be very useful since I 'approach thirties fast, LOL! Very instrutif this article on Asian cosmetics, mom friend Cambodian uses bcp effect of anti-acne products, it has daily rituals and a ton of natural products. As against it to not care wrinkle, I think Asians have a chance not to age as us Europeans! Kisses

  11. Sonia-FashionBox

Yes I noticed that throughout Asia the flagship products are whitening creams! And makeup always very girly in the packaging! I often relate to me the sampoo for black hair (the shampoo is also black!) That gives shine, but next time, I would look more closely the spray you're talking! There are few out there anti-aging products because Asians are less concerned about wrinkles! But you gave me a good laugh with the "razor giant"!

  12. Cherry Blossom

Thank you for this small cosmetic travel. It's great fun to discover the beauty habits of women on the other side of the planet! I join them on two points: UV protection, and masks, which are some of my favorite acts of beauty :) !

  13. Miss Violet

Wow ethnology cosmetics by Chris ;) Super!
    What is the next country?

    Purple Kisses

  14. annouchka

That's what I told myself as and when I discovered your post: sad vision of cosmetics in Singapore, not very fun that! Finally, it's still fun to experience another culture "beauty" ... but hey, I think the organic and natural, they will turn over there in a few years ;) It is still new in here, do not forget: d

  15. pulcherry

I found this presentation very different products, this is an "exotic" break and it is very appreciable :) yet :)

  16. @ Vivilachipie: oh lucky to Thee made in Japan. Probably my next destination ... if it is not NY.
Aline @: thank you for your visit here Without knowing too much either, Asians seem indeed give a lot of time and used in the selection and implementation of care.
@ Sonia: thank you for your testimony. The razor has really impressed me, but I assure you, it was very pink, history hunt grotesque side of things! A black shampoo is more glamorous!
@ Fleurdecerise: you're right, the protection is super important. I'm always a fan when the brand incorporates UV filters.
@ Missviolette: um, I really want to travel, just to bring you these little discoveries. Who wants to sponsor me?? Meanwhile, the next trip will be the States!
@ Annouchka: in fact, the glamor is present because it is absolutely all brands cosmeto luxury we could have here in Galeries Lafayette or Printemps. Now, I was not super surprised if ... seduced by a natural product, but it was imported from the UK: a body milk goat's milk! As for fun, I would say that I have not found either in the street. The girls are dressed in rather strict, eg gray suit. Of course this does not represent the entire population, which is a true melting pot!
@ Pulcherry: thank you for your visit! it changes at all of what we see here, radius, in magazines, on blogs ... cultural diversity! again and again!
