This is to galleries Favardin & De Verneuil we had an appointment for a VIP presentation of the latest trends hairstyles, carefully designed and inspired by Andy and his team.
In a room lit style "showroom", journalists, bloggers and a few large customers carefully watched the master at work on mannequins freshly coiffed. There were also two young blonde women, winners of a contest makeover Philips who had the honor of being "capillairement" transformed by Andy Uffels (and it suited them well!). Andy we then presented the 5 looks fall-winter 2009, detailing their development, and demonstrating how to carefully use a particular flat iron / curling.
Heart for the straightener with variable temperature by incorporating smooth cold air between the hair scales to avoid damaging it.

Their achievements were not a complicated dementia: a good straightener / looper, a brush and lacquer ...
After the parade of models, and a speech by Andy on his inspirations (fashion show, 50 years), I counted to make the most of this meeting, and I've been pampered by a dressing of the team. I knew I wanted curls, smoothed the style I naturally, but between New Wave and Blow up, I was undecided. I finally looked for Blow Up. Left to do in the loop, both go for it!
After discussion with the team of hairdressers, it's Andy himself that I had the chance to meet for a short interview. I had some questions in mind for this international star of the hair and wanted to know his vision of beauty hair, and his way of working.
What matters to him is the texture: the texture of the hair is the central subject of all his creations he then manages to suit his inspirations, trends and ideas "on time". He discussed humorous "faux pas" capillaries, in explaining that to wash your hair without shampoo after, it was worthless! Something to throw on the radius of conditionners Monoprix at the exit! Color level, for him the blond is always appreciated but not just any blond combining several tones (the "hair it" is the blond baby mixed / wheat / gold).
A memorable experience at the heart of the beauty and "Hair Style". Philips thank you and thank you Andy!

2-3 reviews I saw on the net also. In any case this event was really fantastic =). With this side "spectacular", and fashion show which gave it its elegance.
